Murwillumbah Rowing Club like most clubs runs a "Learn to Row" program with great coaches to help you become confident on the water.

Each course costs $96 per person which includes Rowing Queensland Insurance ($16) and at least 4 sessions:

Session 1

•  Introduction to the sport of rowing and our club
• Tour of facilities
• Introduction to boat / shell types and oars
• Demonstration of the rowing sequence - practical on the ergo (rowing machine)         
• Demonstration and practice of carrying a boat safely and putting it on water
• Water safety rules 
•  On–water practical session
•  Correct method of cleaning boats and oars

Sessions 2–4

• Revisit of rowing sequence and practical on land (e.g., ergo)
• On-water practical session
