A very proud day for the Club. The ramp was officially opened by Janelle Saffin MP on behalf of Office of Sport and NSW Governmentt, acknowledging the grant that made this fabulous facility possible. Naomi Searle also represented Tweed Shire Council, without whom the construction wouldn’t have been possible
MRC received an 'honourable mention' in the Tweed Shire Council Australia Day Awards in the Group Sporting Achievement category, in recognition of the outstanding performance at the Australian Masters last year. Well done team!
Today members of MRC's Exec accepted a cheque from Greater Bank for $2,000 to help with the funds needed to build the ramp. This is part of their Community Funding Program. A Big Thankyou to Greater Bank, but also to everyone who voted for MRC during December
Incredibly exciting news for MRC – our grant application to build the ramp has been successful! A massive thank you to #OfficeofSport for helping MRC secure a path to the future!
Whilst we don’t have a date for the work to start, the planning with #TweedShireCouncil now begins in earnest. Thank you to the many people who helped and supported our application.
